The FBI is Seeking the Public’s Assistance with a Bank Robbery

The FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force and Westminster Police Department need your help locating a bank robber. The bank robbed is:

Key Bank
7198 Federal Boulevard
Westminster, Colorado
07/26/18, 4:45 p.m.

The suspect is described as an African American male, approximately 6'0" tall, with a thin build. He was last seen wearing jeans and a black t-shirt.

The suspect approached the teller with a note demanding money then fled the bank on foot in a southbound direction. The suspect got in an unknown vehicle and left the vicinity.

Please be on the lookout for anyone matching the suspect’s description. Be aware of anyone similar who might have recently changed their spending habits or discussed coming into money suddenly.

Bank robbery is punishable by a 20-year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime.

The FBI continues to provide financial institutions with the best practices for security to make them less vulnerable to robberies.
