The Denver Police Department and the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force Are Investigating a Denver Bank Robbery

The Denver Police Department and the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force are investigating the following bank robbery:

First Bank
3801 Federal Boulevard
Denver, Colorado
January 11, 2019, 5:45 p.m.

The suspect robbed the bank and fled on foot in a southbound direction.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, 5’2”—5’3” tall, early 20’s, thin build wearing a dark hoodie with light colored sleeves, a gray mask, a blue beanie hat, and a black back pack.

Bank robbery is punishable by a 20-year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime.

The FBI continues to provide financial institutions with the best practices for security to make them less vulnerable to robberies.
