Robbery of Key Bank Branch in Aurora
The Aurora Police Department and FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force are investigating a bank robbery.
3607 South Tower Road
May 23, 2014, at 12:34 p.m.
The two suspects are described as:
Suspect one: white male, approximately 6’0” in height, with a medium build, and a possible fake mustache.
Suspect two: white female, approximately 5’6” in height, with a medium build, and dark hair.
The suspects entered the bank; the male displayed a dark colored handgun, jumped the counter, and demanded money, and both fled in an unknown vehicle.
Bank robbery is punishable by a 20-year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime.
