UPDATE November 12th, 2023

The FBI, along with Bibb County Sheriff‘s Office Gang Unit and Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, this morning apprehended 37-year-old Johnifer Dernard Barnwell. Barnwell was located at a home in the 3000 block of Alpine Drive in Augusta just after 8:00 a.m. Sunday morning. When Barnwell was captured, large amounts of drugs were found in the house. The FBI would like to thank the United States Attorney’s Offices in Middle and Southern Georgia, the United States Marshals Service, Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, and the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office for their teamwork and help in this capture.
