FBI Seeks Assistance Identifying Individual Responsible for Defacing the Islamic Center of North Fulton

ATLANTA—Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Mark F. Giuliano, along with Gary D. George, director of Alpharetta Public Safety, requests the public’s assistance in identifying the individual responsible for defacing the Islamic Center of North Fulton located in Alpharetta, Georgia.

On Monday, May 27, 2013, at approximately 12:15 a.m., officers of the Alpharetta Police Department responded to the Islamic Center of North Fulton (ICNF), 1265 Rucker Road in Alpharetta, Georgia. Upon arrival, police officers discovered the ICNF sign on Rucker Road had been painted with “London Justice” and “Where Is Justice.”

Witnesses described a white male, approximately 50-60 years old, with a paint bucket and paint brush at the scene. A Georgia Bureau of Investigation composite sketch of the suspect based on those witness descriptions is being made available at this time to assist in the identification of this individual. The FBI and Alpharetta Police are jointly investigating this incident.
