Robbery of Best Bank Branch in Lithonia

ATLANTA—Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Mark F. Giuliano requests the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the individual responsible for the following armed bank robbery:

On Friday, October 26, 2012, at approximately 3:00 p.m., a lone black male entered the Best Bank branch located inside a Kroger grocery store at 6678 Covington Highway, Lithonia, Georgia, and announced a robbery while brandishing a black handgun. The robber obtained an undisclosed amount of money and departed the bank without further incident.

The robber is described as being a black male, age 35-40 years old, 6’0” in height, weighing 160-200 lbs., and wearing sunglasses and a dark skull cap with a gray hooded sweatshirt.
