Two Named to Most Wanted Terrorists List

An Alabama man is one of two men now on the FBI’s Most Wanted Terrorists list.

Mollie Halpern: An Alabama man is one of two men now on the FBI’s Most Wanted Terrorists list. And a third man is the latest addition to the Bureau’s Seeking Information—Terrorism list. Supervisory Special Agent Joe Lewis…

Joe Lewis: Omar Hammami and Raddulan Sahiron were added because of their alleged involvement in terrorism-related activities against the United States and its interests.

Halpern: The Counterterrorism Division’s National Threat Center Section oversees the nomination and selection process for the Most Wanted Terrorists list.

Lewis: The alleged terrorists must meet certain criteria. For example, threatened the security of the United States or has the intent to cause death or serious injury to U.S. citizens.

Halpern: The Rewards for Justice Program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, offers rewards of up to $25 million for some terrorists.
