Mollie Halpern: The FBI says the growth of Internet web streaming is providing criminals with more opportunities to exploit children. I’m Mollie Halpern of the Bureau and this is FBI, This Week. FBI Agents are seeing this happen through investigations into traveling sex offenders—Americans who travel to impoverished countries to live and work in order to sexually abuse children. Criminals in those countries are organizing ways to make money off of the offenders’ abuse through web streaming. Alan Nanavaty, the Chief of the Major Case Coordination Unit within the Violent Crimes Against Children Section, says web streaming is an emerging problem…

Nanavaty: The FBI is not here to just worry about the U.S. children. We’re worried about children across the globe that are being preyed upon by offenders. That’s why we will go after U.S. offenders abroad that are preying on children and we will partner with other countries to identify any offender.
