BUFFALO, NY—U.S. Attorney William J. Hochul, Jr. announced today that Ronald Blair, 42, of Lancaster, New York, who was convicted of using an interstate communication facility to transmit a threat, was sentenced to one year probation by Chief U.S. District Judge William M. Skretny.

The conviction is the culmination of an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Safe Streets Task Force, under the direction of Special Agent in Charge Christopher M. Piehota.
