FBI Seeks Public’s Assistance in Child Sex Trafficking Investigation

ST. PETERSBURG, FL—FBI investigators are requesting the public’s assistance in locating Keosha Renee Jones, 21, a resident of St. Petersburg, Florida. Based on a federal complaint, a warrant for Jones’ arrest was issued on July 15, 2013, for knowingly engaging in the commercial sex trafficking of two 14-year old females.
Jones is aware she has an outstanding warrant for her arrest and may have departed St. Petersburg to avoid apprehension by authorities. According to the investigation, Jones may currently be in the Miami, Florida area. She also has known ties to Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Jones was described as an African-American female with brown eyes and brown hair, 5’5” tall, weighing 120 pounds, with several tattoos on her legs and thighs—including one of a flower.

The investigation is being conducted by the FBI’s Pinellas Office-Child Exploitation Task Force (CETF). The mission of the task force is to provide a rapid, proactive and intelligence-driven, investigative response to the sexual victimization of children and other crimes against children within the FBI’s jurisdiction. Task force members participating in this investigation include the Largo Police Department, St. Petersburg Police Department, and the Clearwater Police Department-Tampa Bay Human Trafficking Task Force, all key partners in combating this crime problem within our local communities.
The charges in the complaint are merely allegations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
