Jefferson County Man Pleads Guilty to Federal Child Pornography Charges

ST. LOUIS, MO—The United States Attorney’s Office announced today that ARTHUR DAMON, of Fenton, Missouri, pled guilty to receiving graphic image files containing child pornography between November 1, 2008, and April 23, 2009. He appeared before United States District Judge Carol E. Jackson.

Receipt of child pornography carries a penalty range of five to 20 years in prison and/or fines up to $250,000. Sentencing has been set for January 6, 2011.

This case was investigated by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, St. Louis County Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Assistant United States Attorney Rob Livergood is handling the case for the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
