Warren Woman Gets Probation with Home Confinement, Community Service for Providing Drugs to Federal Inmate

JOHNSTOWN, PA—A resident of Warren, Pennsylvania has been sentenced in federal court to four years’ probation, the first 12 months of which must be served by conditions of home confinement, and 50 hours of community service on her conviction of providing contraband in prison, United States Attorney David J. Hickton announced today.
United States District Judge Kim R. Gibson imposed the sentence on Robin Ostrowski, 47.
According to information presented to the court, on March 7, 2010, Ostrowski provided marijuana and dihydrocodeinone to an inmate at FCI Loretto, Pennsylvania.
Assistant United States Attorney John J. Valkovci, Jr. prosecuted this case on behalf of the government.
U.S. Attorney Hickton commended the Laurel Highlands Resident Agency of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Special Investigative Staff at the Federal Correctional Institution at Loretto for the investigation leading to the successful prosecution of Ostrowski.
