Philadelphia Man Charged with Possession of Crack Cocaine

JOHNSTOWN, PA—A resident of Philadelphia, Pa., has been indicted by a federal grand jury in Johnstown on a charge of violating federal narcotics laws United States Attorney David J. Hickton announced today.
The one-count indictment named Nisia Kevin Dunaway, 22.
According to the indictment presented to the court, on or about Apr. 10, 2010, Dunaway possessed with the intent to distribute 50 grams or more of cocaine base, commonly known as “crack.”
The law provides for a maximum of life in prison, a fine of $4,000,000, or both. Under the Federal Sentencing Guidelines, the actual sentence imposed would be based upon the seriousness of the offense and the prior criminal history, if any, of the defendant.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Stephanie L. Haines is prosecuting this case on behalf of the government.
The Laurel Highlands Resident Agency of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Cambria County Drug Task Force conducted the investigation leading to the indictment in this case.
