Robbery of Conestoga Bank Branch

The FBI and the Philadelphia Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for the robbery of the Conestoga Bank branch located at 2444 South Broad Street earlier today. This same subject is also believed to be responsible for the robberies of the Wachovia Bank branch located at 2221 South Broad Street on 7/23/2010, and the Citizens Bank branch located at 10650 Bustleton Avenue on 7/26/2010.
The subject entered the Conestoga Bank branch this afternoon and presented a threatening demand note to a teller. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject fled the area of the bank and was last seen heading westbound on Porter Street. The subject is described as a white male in his 20’s to early 30’s, 5’5” tall, thin to medium build, with a thin beard and large tattoos on both forearms. In the previous robberies, the subject was wearing baseball caps and sunglasses pulled down on his face, and large tattoos were visible on both forearms. During today’s robbery, the subject was wearing a dark hat with a white “M” on the front, sunglasses covering his eyes, a grey long-sleeve shirt or sweatshirt, and denim shorts or Capri-length pants.
This subject is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There may be a reward for information leading to this subject’s capture, and tipsters can remain anonymous.
