NEW ORLEANS—Today, the FBI’s Violent Crime Task Force, in partnership with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office Robbery Unit, arrested Ronald Leach, wanted for yesterday’s robbery of the Marrero branch of Capitol One Bank, located at 4601 West Bank Expressway. Leach was arrested at approximately 2:00 p.m. today without incident at the corner of Dauphine and Toulouse in the French Quarter. A subsequent investigation into yesterday’s robbery and a Crimestopper tip led to his identity and arrest.

Law enforcement officials believe Leach is the same person responsible for the robbery of the Capitol One Bank Branch at 91 West Bank Expressway on April 15, 2013.

He will be booked into the St. Bernard Jail and have his initial appearance tomorrow in front of a Federal Magistrate Judge.
