Gulf Coast Bank Branch on North Carrollton in Mid-City Robbed

NEW ORLEANS—On June, 2013, at approximately 12:41 p.m., there was a robbery at the Gulf Coast Bank branch located in the 200 block of North Carrollton Avenue in Mid-City.
The suspect entered the location and approached a teller window. While he did not produce a handgun, he demanded money via a note that he handed to the teller. He left the bank with an undetermined amount of money.
The suspect is described as a black male, dark skin, thin-medium build, wearing a white shirt, blue jeans, yellow reflective work vest with orange trim, and gold upper and lower teeth. He was also wearing a white baseball cap with a red bill, bearing the logo of the Detroit Red Wings. He left the bank on foot on Iberville Street in the direction of the Mississippi River.

The Metropolitan Orleans Bank Security Association (MOBSA) is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of this bank robber.
