FBI and Miramar Police Department Release Video and Photographs in 10/2/2009 Miramar Bank Robbery

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Miramar Police Department are releasing video and photographs of a take-over style bank robbery that occurred at Bank of America, 12300 Miramar Parkway, Miramar, Florida on Friday, October 2, 2009 at 11:11 a.m. Three men wearing dark masks and dark clothing entered the bank while the getaway driver waited outside. One subject was armed with an AK-47 type assault rifle, another subject carried a large bag, and the third subject brandished two handguns. The AK-47 toting robber and the bag holder jumped the teller counter and took money from the teller drawers while the duel handgun wielding robber walked around in the lobby area. All employees and customers were forced to the floor at gunpoint. The robbers stayed in the bank for about one minute. All four fled in a silver colored Ford Edge. No shots were fired and no serious injuries were reported.
