Teardrop Tattooed Bandit Threatens Tellers and Gets Some Cash

The Houston FBI Bank Robbery Task Force is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the man who robbed the Prosperity Bank, located at 8820 Westheimer in Houston, Texas, earlier today. The bank’s surveillance cameras captured pictures of the man during the robbery.

At approximately 3:40 p.m., the man entered the bank and approached the teller counter. He handed the teller a note in which he threatened to have a gun and demanded money. No weapon was observed by the teller. After the robber got some cash, he fled the bank on foot. He was not seen getting into a vehicle. No one was physically hurt during the robbery.

The robber is described an Hispanic male, 25-30 years old, 5’3-5’5” tall, 160-180 pounds, with a stocky build, brown eyes, and a light complexion. He wore a long-sleeved black t-shirt with red print and white lettering on the front, blue jeans, tennis shoes and a black baseball-style hat. He had two or three teardrop tattoos on the corner of his left eye. He possibly had gold in his front teeth.
