1. On September 4, 2013, James B. Comey was sworn in as the seventh Director of the FBI.

2. The Directorate of Intelligence manages all intelligence activities in the FBI.

3. The eight investigative priorities of the Anchorage Division are counterterrorism, counterintelligence, cyber crime, public corruption, civil rights, organized crime, white-collar crime, and violent crime.

4. Glen Stewart Godwin is on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list from the Sacramento Field Office.

5. The community outreach program in the Anchorage Division participates in Adopt-a-School, the Citizens Academy program, the Director’s Community Leadership Award, and Weed ‘n Seed.

You decide to use your experience from working in field offices to go to FBI Headquarters and become a Supervisory Special Agent. Your job is to oversee numerous Special Agents and other employees who work in a unit.

(Total 4 Points) Assistant Special Agent in Charge: After working in FBI Headquarters you decide to expand your experience leading Agents and other employees. You accept a position as an Assistant Special Agent in Charge in a field office. You are second in charge at an FBI field office!

(Total 5 Points) Special Agent in Charge: Being an experienced, veteran Special Agent and manager, you accept a role as the person responsible for the operations of a field office. You are the Special Agent in Charge!

(Total 6 Points) Assistant Director: You are moving up the highest ranks of the FBI leadership. As an Assistant Director, you are in charge of one of the divisions at FBI Headquarters. For example, you may be in charge of the Counterterrorism Division, the Laboratory Division, or the Training Division.

(Total 7 Points) Deputy Director: You are second in charge of the whole FBI! You assist the Director, or head, of the FBI.

(Total 8 Points) Director: Congratulations, your hard work and dedication in upholding the law have paid off! You have been appointed by the President of the United States as Director of the FBI and are now in charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
