Robbery of Alpharetta BB&T Bank Branch

ATLANTA—Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Mark F. Giuliano, FBI Atlanta and Alpharetta Director of Public Safety Gary D. George request assistance from the public in identifying and locating the individual responsible for today’s armed robbery of the BB&T Bank branch located at 5960 Northpoint Parkway in Alpharetta, Georgia.

On Monday, February 11, 2013, at approximately 9:53 a.m., a lone black male entered the BB&T Bank branch at 5960 Northpoint Parkway in Alpharetta, Georgia, and announced a robbery. While at the teller station, the robber placed his handgun onto the teller counter. The robber obtained an undisclosed amount of money and departed the bank without further incident.

The robber is described as being a black male, mid-to-late 30s in age, 5’6” to 5’9” in height, slender build, and weighing approximately 160 lbs. The robber was wearing a grey and white flannel shirt with a black jacket with hood.
