Armed Robbery of South Crest Bank Branch in Lutherville

Special Agent in Charge Mark F. Giuliano, FBI Atlanta, requests the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the individuals responsible for today’s armed robbery of the South Crest Bank, located at 14 North Main Street, Lutherville (Meriwether County), Georgia.

On Friday, August 2, 2013, at approximately 12:37 p.m., two black males brandishing handguns entered the South Crest Bank, 14 North Main Street, Lutherville, Georgia, and announced a robbery. One of the robbers vaulted the teller counter and took money from two teller drawers. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, both robbers fled on foot.

Both robbers are described as being between 5’6”-5’9” in height, while one robber was described as having a slender build and the other was of medium build. Both robbers wore some type of cloth over their face during the robbery.

South Crest Bank is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of these two armed and dangerous bank robbers.
