Robbery of Credit Union 1 Branch in Anchorage

At approximately 4:54 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2014, the Credit Union 1 branch at 1941 Abbott Road in Anchorage, Alaska, was robbed by an unidentified subject. The subject entered the bank and presented a note demanding money. After obtaining $1,600 in cash, the subject exited the bank and fled from the scene on foot heading south.

Witnesses described the subject as an African-American male, approximately 20 to 30 years of age, approximately 5’7” to 5’11” tall, with a thin to medium build, medium to dark skin, and black hair. He was wearing a black ball cap with a dark brim, a black leather coat, a dark hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up over his head and hat, black gloves, dark jeans, black shoes, and sunglasses with yellow/green/blue reflective lenses.
