Emma Rosemary Hossy, 22, of Albuquerque, was arrested Sunday, December 9, 2012, in connection with the attempted robbery Friday of Wells Fargo Bank branch located at 8333 Montgomery Boulevard NE in Albuquerque.

Hossy is expected to appear in U.S. District Court in Albuquerque on Monday.

Hossy was arrested by Albuquerque Police, who turned her over to the FBI.

Witnesses say a woman entered the bank shortly before noon Friday and showed a teller a small package wrapped in duct tape.

The suspect told the teller to hand over some money or she would press the detonator and blow up the building.

The suspect grabbed the package and fled without any money when she apparently noticed the teller push an emergency button.

The package was later determined to be a hoax.
