Homicide Investigation

The FBI and the Jemez Police Department are jointly conducting a homicide investigation into the death of Matthew Panana, a 21-year-old Jemez Pueblo resident.
Authorities believe Panana was repeatedly stabbed and beaten outside the home of another Jemez Pueblo resident.
Authorities believe the alleged homicide occurred this morning before daylight.
Shortly after the incident, Jemez Police arrested a suspect, who is also a Jemez resident.
