Ganesvoort Man Sentenced for Receiving Child Pornography
Defendant Who Received Multiple Still Images and Videos of Child Pornography Sentenced to 96 Months in Prison

ALBANY, NY—Wayne L. Conrad, Jr., age 47, of Ganesvoort, New York, was sentenced today by United States District Court Judge Mae A. D’Agostino in Albany to 96 months of imprisonment for receiving child pornography images, announced United States Attorney Richard S. Hartunian; Andrew W. Vale, Special Agent in Charge, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Albany Division; and Joseph D’Amico, Superintendent of New York State Police. Conrad, who had entered a guilty plea on October 15, 2012, was also ordered to have no unsupervised contact with minors and to register with the New York State Sex Offender Registry Program.
Between May 2007 and February 1, 2012, Conrad used the Internet to access various child pornography websites and various file sharing networks. While accessing some of the child pornography websites or file sharing networks, Conrad downloaded multiple still images and videos of child pornography onto his home computer and external hard drives.
This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the New York State Police.
