The Pittsburgh Division honors Ms. Lisa René Fox, chief executive officer of The Bradley Center, for her dedication and commitment to assisting thousands of children in Pennsylvania and West Virginia overcome the impact of traumatic histories and mitigate the symptoms of mental illness. Ms. Fox has been a leader in the behavioral health field for 25 years. During this time she has served many roles, from providing direct care to children with mental health issues to serving as CEO of a major behavioral health care organization. She began her career as a therapist at Warren State Hospital working with children and adults suffering from serious mental illness. As a community resource specialist at DuBois Regional Medical Center, she served as both an emergency room crisis worker and a mental health therapist. In 2007, Ms. Fox was named CEO of The Bradley Center, a non-profit residential treatment facility for children with extensive histories of complex trauma. Her leadership has led Bradley to a position of prominence in the field. Today, The Bradley Center is a certified sanctuary facility, specializing in trauma-informed care and organizational excellence. |
