The New Haven Division honors the Connecticut Center for Arts and Technology (ConnCAT) for its work in providing world-class, market-relevant job training, financial literacy training, and placement services to underemployed and unemployed adults in the New Haven area.

ConnCAT provides interactive educational programs tailored to the developmental needs and interests of middle and high school students. At the heart of ConnCAT’s vision is creating a unique learning environment: one that inspires hope, innovation, creativity, and excellence, and that elevates individuals’ expectations of themselves and others.

ConnCAT offers several valuable resources, including its career mentor, after-school, and Front Runners programs, and the Entrepreneurial Academy. Mentors participating in the career mentor program provide invaluable support and guidance to ConnCAT’s adult learners as they transition from the classroom to the workplace. Mentors help participants navigate potential employment opportunities and provide personal and professional development coaching.
