FBI and San Diego Sheriff’s Department Seek Public’s Assistance to Identify Point Loma Credit Union Robber

The FBI and San Diego Sheriff’s Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the unknown male responsible for robbing the Point Loma Credit Union located at 10413 Craftsman Way in San Diego, California, on Friday, April 18, 2014.

On Friday, April 18, 2014, at approximately 4:50 p.m., the Point Loma Credit Union located at 10413 Craftsman Way in San Diego, California, was robbed by an unknown male using his cell phone to display a demand message. At the time of the robbery, the robber entered the bank, walked to the victim teller’s window, and held up his cell phone screen that had a typed demand note displayed on the screen. After receiving a sum of money the robber exited the bank. No weapon was displayed and no injuries reported.

Witnesses describe the robber as follows:

  • Sex: Male
  • Race: White
  • Age: Approximately 18 to 22 years old
  • Height: Approximately 5’8” tall
  • Weight: Approximately 160 pounds
  • Build: Thin
  • Hair: Short dark hair
  • Clothing: Dark sunglasses, dark T-shirt with skull images in assorted colors, and dark shorts
