FBI and San Diego Sheriffs Department Seek Publics Assistance to Identify Unknown Female Bank Robber

The FBI and San Diego Sheriff’s Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the unknown female responsible for robbing the US Bank, 1301 East Vista Way, Vista, California, on Monday, July 5, 2010.
On Monday, July 5, 2010, at approximately 9:40 a.m., an unknown female hereinafter referred to as the robber, robbed the US Bank, located inside of the Albertsons Grocery Store at 1301 East Vista Way, Vista, California. At the time of the robbery, the robber approached a teller and made a verbal demand for money threatening to possess a weapon. The robber threatened to use the weapon against the teller if the teller did not comply with her demands. The teller was ordered to put the money inside of a blue cloth bag the robber was carrying. The teller placed the money inside of the bag as instructed by the robber. The robber then grabbed the bag from the teller, at which time some of the money fell out of the bag and onto the floor. The robber picked up the money and ran out of the store. No injuries were reported.
Witnesses describe the robber as follows:

Race: Black
Age: Late 20’s to early 30’s
Height: 5’7”
Weight: Unknown
Build: Athletic
Clothing: Green short-sleeve tee shirt, gray baseball style cap, sunglasses, and white sweat pants. The robber also carried a black shoulder style purse.
Weapon: Threatened to possess a firearm even though no weapon was observed
