FBI Seeks Public’s Assistance to Identify Chase Bank Robber

The FBI is seeking the public’s assistance to identify the unknown male responsible for robbing the Chase Bank, 348 South Twin Oaks Valley Road, San Marcos, California.

On Thursday, February 25 2010, at approximately 11:00 a.m., a lone male entered the Chase Bank, located at 348 South Twin Oaks Valley Road, San Marcos, California. The robber entered the bank and approached a teller station. The robber handed the teller a sum of cash and stated he wanted to make a deposit. The teller walked away for a brief moment and when the teller returned, the robber handed the teller a demand note and displayed a weapon in his waistband. The teller provided the robber a sum of money, which the robber placed inside of a duffle bag and then walked out of the bank.

Witnesses describe the robber as follows:

  • Sex: Male
  • Race: Hispanic
  • Age: Mid 20’s to early 30’s
  • Height: 6’0” tall
  • Build: Thin to medium build
  • Hair/Coloring: Dark brown or black, short and well groomed
  • Clothing: Dressed in tan suit, white dress shirt, tan colored tie, and sunglasses
  • Weapon: Black semi-automatic pistol
