FBI and San Diego Sheriff’s Department Seeking Public’s Assistance to Identify Fallbrook Bank Robbery Suspect

The FBI and San Diego Sheriff’s Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify an unknown male responsible for robbing the Washington Mutual Bank, located at 1091 S. Mission Road, Fallbrook, California, at approximately 5:55 p.m. on Thursday, February 26, 2009.

At the time of the robbery, the robber entered the bank, approached a teller, and presented a demand note for cash. After receiving a sum of money the robber exited the bank and fled in a silver two-door Honda. No weapon was threatened or observed.

The robber is described as follows:

Race: White
Sex: Male
Age: 50 – 55 years old
Weight: 200 lbs.
Clothing: baseball cap, sunglasses, short-sleeved shirt with a sweater vest.
