FBI Salt Lake City Seeks More Tips in Search for “Bearded Bank Robber”

Today, the FBI and the South Salt Lake Police Department are asking for the public to take a second look at surveillance photographs and help law enforcement identify a man who robbed a bank last month.

On July 23, 2010, an individual walked into the Wells Fargo Bank at 3300 South and 70 East in South Salt Lake, UT, approached a bank teller and passed a note demanding money. He left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Shortly after the robbery, South Salt Lake Police released bank photos and information about the robber. He’s described as 5’7”- 5’8” tall, with red hair and a red beard. He’s believed to be in his 40’s.
