FBI Phoenix Division’s Holocaust Exhibit: “Enduring Eyes”

PHOENIX—Phoenix FBI Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Nathan Thomas Gray announced today the FBI Phoenix Division is sponsoring a Holocaust remembrance exhibit in Tucson entitled “Enduring Eyes: Remembering the Holocaust to Protect the Future.”
The exhibit will be on display free to the public to view. It is a collection of 20 posters originally developed by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) depicting the atrocities of the Holocaust from 1933 to 1945.
Former FBI Director Louis J. Freeh was so impressed with the collection that he had it framed and commissioned by the FBI to be viewed by the law enforcement community and the public at large. The FBI aims to increase awareness in the communities it protects and to enhance its ability to safeguard the civil rights of all Americans by commissioning the Holocaust Exhibit.
The FBI civil rights program operates pursuant to the following mission statement:
“Protect the civil and constitutional rights of all Americans and enforce the federal statutes designed to protect civil rights. Aggressively investigate and work to prevent hate crimes, color of law abuses, human trafficking, and freedom of access to clinic entrances violations.”
SAC Nathan Gray said, “This Holocaust exhibit is a reminder that as law enforcement officers, we are entrusted to uphold the laws that protect the civil liberties of all Americans, and as Americans, we have the responsibility to ensure the Holocaust atrocities never occur again.”
