PHOENIX, AZ—Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CCO) today announced its partnership with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Phoenix Division to raise awareness of the BanditTrackerArizona.com™ website, created to capture bank robbery suspects throughout the state. At a press conference held in front of Clear Channel Outdoor’s digital billboard located at 7th St. and Lincoln in Phoenix on June 28, the FBI Phoenix Division shared details on how the Company’s displays will support the BanditTrackerArizona site.

The FBI’s Bank Robbery Task Force will utilize Clear Channel Outdoor’s digital network throughout the greater Phoenix metropolitan area to promote BanditTrackerArizona.com, which features up-to-date color photographs and descriptions of bank robbery suspects. Fully supported by Electronic Tracking SystemsSM, L.L.C. (ETS), a Texas-based leader in asset tracking and location systems, the BanditTrackerArizona site is updated in real-time for law-abiding citizens to send anonymous tips. The first of the BanditTracker.com® sites was designed in 2007 by the FBI and ETS.

“Clear Channel’s digital billboard networks are being embraced rapidly by many municipal governments as the technology provides police departments and other emergency services an extraordinarily effective means of reaching the public,” said Diane Veres, President and General Manager of Clear Channel Outdoor’s Arizona Division. “Our partnership with the FBI to assist in the apprehension of local criminals is a logical extension as our digital displays have now become an essential community service tool.”

“With the use of Clear Channel Outdoor’s extensive digital network promoting the BanditTrackerArizona site, we now have the ability to reach thousands of local area citizens with the intent of apprehending bank robbery suspects,” said FBI Acting Special Agent in Charge John A. Strong, Phoenix Division. “This unique partnership between Clear Channel Outdoor, ETS, and the FBI will allow Valley residents to assist law enforcement by providing valuable information on bank robbery suspects which will result in a decrease in these violent crimes.”

“We are very pleased that the ETS-facilitated Community CoalitionSM consisting of financial institutions, law enforcement agencies, businesses, and our company can provide the unique support offered by the BanditTracker.com site to aid our law enforcement partners in Arizona,” commented Steve Childress, Chief Operating Officer, ETS.

Since 2007, Clear Channel Outdoor and the FBI have worked together to form a partnership that would take advantage of the new digital outdoor networks ability to react to local conditions quickly and inform the public of important community information. The FBI has already apprehended more than 30 criminals as a direct result of Clear Channel’s digital out-of-home “Wanted” messages in the past four years. With instantaneous alerts, digital billboards are one of the most effective means for public service communications and in providing emergency messaging of many types.
