Robbery of TD Bank Branch in West Orange

The FBI is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the subject that robbed the TD Bank branch located at 425 Pleasant Valley Way in West Orange, New Jersey, on December 3, 2012.

At approximately 1:15 p.m., the subject entered the bank armed with a semi-automatic handgun. The subject pointed the handgun at the teller while he directed the money be placed into a blue canvass bag. He exited the bank with an undisclosed amount of money, walking in a northbound direction.

The subject is described as a white male, approximately 5’10” tall and 210 pounds, with a large build, salt and pepper hair, and a goatee. He was wearing a baseball cap, sunglasses, a dark sweater, blue jeans, and dark shoes.

Anyone with information about this or any other bank robbery is urged to contact the FBI at 973-792-3000.

Citizens are reminded they should never attempt to apprehend a fugitive; in an emergency, call 911.
