Robbery of U.S. Bank Branch in Bloomington

On January 2, 2012, at approximately 8:45 a.m., a bank robbery occurred at a U.S. Bank branch, located at 9633 Lyndale Avenue in Bloomington, Minnesota. The robber, who was described as a white male, entered the bank and approached the teller counter. After he was inside of the bank, he passed a note to the victim teller, demanding cash. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the robber fled from the bank on foot.

The robber was described as a white male, who stood approximately 6’0” in height and appeared to be approximately 35 to 40 years of age. He weighed approximately 220 lbs. He also wore a black leather jacket, a black t-shirt, and blue jeans.

The robber may also be responsible for a bank robbery which occurred in Fargo, North Dakota on December 31, 2011 at the Bank of the West.
