  • Western District of Wisconsin (608) 264–5158

MADISON, WI—John W. Vaudreuil, United States Attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin, announced that Anthony Bonham, 44, Rock Springs, Wisconsin was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge Barbara B. Crabb to 120 months (10 years) in prison for distribution of child pornography. Bonham pled guilty to this crime on April 24, 2012, and has remained in custody since his guilty plea.

A search warrant, premised on an undercover Internet operation, was executed at Bonham’s Rock Springs, Wisconsin home on November 16, 2011. There, the agents found computers and electronic storage media containing thousands of child pornography images.

The charges against Bonham were the result of an investigation conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation with the crucial assistance of the Sauk County Sheriff’s Department. The prosecution of the case has been handled by Assistant U.S. Attorney Timothy M. O’Shea.
