FBI Announces Arrests in 2013 Pembroke Pines Bank Robbery

The FBI announces the arrest of David Anthony Lockhart, Jr., 21, and Dondrell Joseph Chandler, Jr., 19, both of Miramar, Florida, for their alleged involvement in the robbery of the TD Bank branch 7999 Pines Blvd. in Pembroke Pines, Florida, on September 4, 2013.

The arrests were made without incident Wednesday (February 26, 2014) at FBI Headquarters in North Miami Beach, Florida. The Miramar Police Department, Pembroke Pines Police Department, FBI, and the South Florida Violent Crime Task Force were involved with the arrest.

Lockhart and Chandler are in federal custody and are facing federal charges. It is anticipated they will have their initial appearance today Thursday, February 27, 2014, in federal court in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The FBI, Miramar Police Department, Pembroke Pines Police Department, Broward Sheriff’s Office, and the South Florida Violent Crime Task Force continue their investigation.

No further information will be released at this time.
