Two Individuals Arrested Following Bank Robbery

Robert A. Jones, Special Agent in Charge of the Indianapolis Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), today announced the arrest of two individuals immediately following the robbery of the Huntington Bank at Willow Lake Branch, located at 2630 West 86th Street in Indianapolis, Indiana.

At approximately 11:08 a.m. today, Friday, April 19, 2013, two black males, armed with weapons, entered the Huntington Bank, 2630 West 86th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, and demanded money. The robbers were given an undisclosed amount of United States currency and left the bank. Upon exiting the bank, a dye pack exploded. After a brief chase, the robbers were confronted by law enforcement personnel and arrested without incident.

The arrests were made by special agents and task force officers of the FBI Safe Streets Task Force along with Officers of the Avon Police Department, Carmel Police Department, Hamilton County Drug Task Force, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, and Zionsville Police Department.

Those arrested are identified as Ashton Tuggly, a black male, age 22, of Indianapolis, Indiana; and Julius Hunt, a black male, age 25, of Elkhart, Indiana.
