FBI Presents Awards to Members of Northeast Indiana Federal Bank Robbery Task Force

Michael S. Welch, Special Agent in Charge (SAC) of the Indianapolis Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), is proud to recognize the below listed individuals for their outstanding assistance, dedication and commitment to the Northeast Indiana Federal Bank Robbery Task Force over the past 10 years. An awards ceremony will take place at the Public Safety Academy of Northeast Indiana, 7602 Patriot Crossing, Fort Wayne, Indiana, today at 10:30 a.m. 

The Northeast Indiana Federal Bank Robbery Task Force (NEIFBRTF) was initiated in December 1999 due to the increased number of violent “take over” armed bank robberies which occurred in the summer of 1999. Since 1999, the NEIFBRTF has investigated over 136 robberies.

On behalf of FBI Director Robert S. Mueller, III, Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAC) Thomas S. Gancarz, Indianapolis Division, will present the following individuals with certificates for Outstanding Assistance to the FBI:
