Chase Bank Robbery

At approximately 12:45 p.m., a subject entered the Chase Bank, 5205 Wren, El Paso, Texas, attempted to pass a demand note to a teller through the bandit barrier, but left the bank without any money. The subject displayed a large black rifle and after his unsuccessful attempt to rob the bank, left the bank on foot headed south towards the strip mall across the street.

The subject is approximately 5’8” tall and was wearing a full white Halloween mask covering his face. He was wearing a dark hoodie covering his head, dark blue jeans, black gloves, and dark shoes with red laces. The subject also dropped a large black trash bag upon exiting the bank. This is the fourth bank robbery in El Paso this year.

This case is being worked by the FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force, which includes the El Paso Police Department and El Paso Sheriff’s Department. If anyone was in the vicinity of this bank and/or has information about the robbery, please contact the FBI at 915-832-5000.
