Moundsville Resident Sentenced in Federal Court

WHEELING, WV—A 54-year-old Moundsville, West Virginia, resident was sentenced on February 6, 2012, in United States District Court in Wheeling by Judge Frederick P. Stamp, Jr.

United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that: REX B. O’NEIL was sentenced to 33 months’ imprisonment to be followed by five years of supervised release. O’NEIL entered a plea of guilty on November 15, 2011, to one count of possession of child pornography on March 4, 2011, in Moundsville. O’NEIL will self-report to the designated federal institution on March 6, 2012.

This case will be prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney David J. Perri and was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
