Robbery of Wells Fargo Bank Branch in North Philadelphia

FBI Philadelphia February 22, 2013

The Philadelphia Police Department and the FBI are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for the February 22, 2013 robbery of the Wells Fargo Bank branch located at 601 West Erie Avenue in North Philadelphia.

At approximately 3:30 p.m., the subject entered the bank and handed a teller a note demanding money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject fled the area of the bank.

The subject is described as a black or dark-complected Hispanic male aged 30-40, approximately 5’9” tall, medium build; he wore a brown jacket and dark-colored knit ski cap.

This subject is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about this robbery or this subject is urged to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There may be a reward for information leading to this subject’s capture; tipsters can remain anonymous.
