Man Charged with Theft of Trade Secrets

Tung Pham, 46, formerly of Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, currently residing in California, was charged today by indictment1 with theft of trade secrets and wire fraud, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger. Pham was charged with stealing trade secrets regarding pastes used in the manufacture of solar cells from his former employer.
If convicted, the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of 160 years’ imprisonment, a $2.25 million fine, and a special assessment of $900.
The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Michael L. Levy.
