Leader of Methamphetamine Ring Sentenced on Drug Charges

PHILADELPHIA—Kwame Fluellen, 28, of Easton, PA, was sentenced today to 180 months in prison for a drug conspiracy, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger. Fluellen was the leader of a methamphetamine distribution conspiracy. He and co-defendant Che Fluellen sold methamphetamine that they brought to Easton and Allentown from Southern California. Fluellen pleaded guilty January 5, 2011 to conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine in the Lehigh Valley between October 2007 and February 2009 and possession with intent to distribute more than two kilograms of methamphetamine.
In addition to the prison term, U.S. District Court Judge Legrome Davis ordered Fluellen to five years’ supervised release. Che Fluellen, 29, was sentenced May 24, 2011 to 168 months in prison.
The case was investigated by the Allentown Resident Agency of the FBI, the Easton Police Department, and the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office, Bureau of Narcotics Investigation, and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney David E. Troyer.
