Philadelphia Man Charged with Gunpoint Robbery of Credit Union

An indictment was filed today against Lamar Palmero charging that Palmero conspired to and committed the gunpoint robbery of the Sun East Federal Credit Union, 9212 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA on September 11, 2007.

If convicted, the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of life in prison, including a mandatory minimum seven years imprisonment, five years of supervised release, a $750,000 fine, and a $300 special assessment.

The case was investigated by the FBI and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Anthony J. Wzorek.
