Robbery of Arvest Bank Inside Oklahoma City Wal-Mart

James E. Finch, Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Oklahoma, announces the robbery of Arvest Bank located at 6100 West Reno Avenue inside Wal-Mart, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. At approximately 11:45 this morning, a man apparoached the teller counter and verbally demanded $100 bills. He threatened a weapon but a weapon was not seen. The bank teller complied with the robber’s demand and gave him and undisclosed amount of cash. He was last seen as a passenger in a 2003 or older model grey or silver Dodge Durango truck. A direction of flight for the truck was not known. No one was hurt in today’s robbery.

The robber was described as a black male in his late 20s to early 30s. He had a thin build. The robber wore a white baseball-style cap, a black hoodie jacket, and glasses.

This robbery is being investigated by the FBI and the Oklahoma City Police Department. Anyone with information about this robbery may call the FBI at (405) 290-7770 (24-Hour number). Callers may remain anonymous. The Oklahoma Banker’s Association offers a reward of up to $2,000 for any information leading to the identity and/or arrest of a person robbing a member bank.
