FBI Nabs Fugitive in Maui

Acting on a lead from the FBI office in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, special agents from the Honolulu division of the FBI arrested fugitive TIMOTHY KOSIER, age 45, last night in a vacation rental home in Kihei (Maui), Hawaii. KOSIER was wanted on a federal warrant issued in the Western District of Wisconsin for the crime of stealing government property.

The arrest took place last night at 7:30 p.m. with no resistance. Following his arrest, the defendant was held overnight by the Maui Police Department. The FBI transported him to Honolulu this morning so he could have his initial appearance in federal court.

The defendant will have his initial appearance in federal court today in front of Magistrate Judge Richard Puglisi at 2:30 p.m. in Honolulu’s Prince Kuhio Federal Building.
