Suspect Arrested in Connection with Three Bank Robberies

The FBI Denver Division and the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force would like to thank the efforts of the media regarding the solving of a recent string of bank robberies. The media’s assistance in informing the public led to the apprehension of this individual.

Two Crimestoppers tips, one of Friday and one on Saturday, led to the arrest of Pueblo, Colorado resident Eloy Montoya, 19 years of age. Montoya was arrested on Saturday, July 20 by the Pueblo Police Department. Montoya is suspected of robbing the three Denver metro area banks listed below.
