FBI Violent Crimes Task Force Seeks Serial Bank Robber Known as the Brim Beanie Bandit
Suspect Robbed Fifth Bank

On Monday, January 6, 2014, the serial bank robber known as the Brim Beanie Bandit is alleged to have robbed again, making this his fifth robbed bank. The South Shore Savings Bank, 1538 Turnpike Street in Stoughton, Massachusetts, was robbed at approximately 9:34 a.m. As seen in the below surveillance picture, he is wearing a black brim beanie cap, black jacket, and dark pants with black gloves.

The serial robber entered the bank, passed a note to the teller demanding money, exited the bank, and fled on foot in an unknown direction. A weapon was not seen during the commission of this robbery, and the suspect is considered armed and dangerous.

The FBI is offering a reward for information leading directly to the arrest and charging of the robber. Anyone with information regarding the robbery should call the FBI’s Boston Division at (617) 742-5533 or Stoughton Police Department at (781) 344-2424.
